Foot health and good shoes have always been priority to me, in 2016 I became a mother and realised the role I play in making healthy decisions for my child. I battled with shoes fitting him. In 2019 I had a daughter and this issue arose again.

This time I had a need, a pattern, some leather and a baby. That’s how new creation was born, my knowledge of shoes was extremely limited but a mother with a need and an idea is most certainly not easily derailed. My daughter (my test model) was 6 months old at the time and boy did she endure many shoe fittings to get our product range to where they are today.

New creation shoes are totally selfmade with zero imports, all our leather is locally sourced in KZN. I am still the hands and feet of my very small business with some help along the way from a machinist and a few loving hands.
